Our central location is an easy drive to any of Southwest Colorado's many visitor attractions, with all the amenities and none of the hassle! Sundance RV Park is an adult oriented RV park featuring 68 spacious, level sites, long pull-thrus, ample shade and accommodations for large RVs and slide-outs. All sites have full hookups with 50/30/20 amp service and free cable TV.

There is a lot to see and do in southwest Colorado, so plan to stay a while. We offer weekly and monthly rates, free wi-fi, on-site laundry, clean restrooms and showers, phone hookups are available, and there is even a special pet walk for your traveling companions. We're located next door to a restaurant, hospital, a service station & convenience store, and carry numerous RV supplies on-site. RV services are also available.

Our area is one of the most beautiful and culturally diverse regions in the Southwest. Archaeological sites abound, with Mesa Verde National Park, a World Cultural Heritage Park, as the crown jewel at the heart of it all. Trail of the Ancients Scenic Byway rolls right through Cortez and includes Lowry Pueblo, Hovenweep National Monument, and Ute Mountain Tribal Park... all are nearby daytrips for travelers interested in the culture and architecture of the area's previous inhabitants.

If you're into recreation, try your hand at fly fishing the Gold Medal waters of the Dolores River or lake fishing and boating on McPhee Lake, Colorado's second largest body of water. McPhee supports both warm and cold water species and is home to rainbow trout, Kokanee salmon, bluegill, channel catfish, large and small mouth bass, and crappie. If you yearn to view the La Plata Mountains from a saddle, try a western high country trail ride with one of our local horseback stables. We're just minutes from Conquistador Golf Course, a professional quality 18-hole course with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Biking and hiking are popular year-round with extensive backcountry trails which offer scenic panoramas, extraordinary fields of wildflowers and abundant outdoor wildlife photography. In the winter our cross-country skiing is simply superb, with miles of groomed ski trails and snowmobiling on Forest Service trails, bowls and meadows. Excellent downhill skiing is available at Telluride and Durango; stay with us and avoid high dollar resort lodging.
